Ángel Fagilde Trabada, President of the Aulas Senior de Galicia (Ategal), which provides courses to adults, and Julio Masid, General Manager of Viaqua, signed an agreement this morning in Santiago whereby the complete water cycle management company will subsidise Ategal's project for the elderly. This project, known as 'Senior Talent. Leading my health. Guidelines for blockbuster health', is about preparing for retirement and is given by teacher, coach, author and GP Estefanía Zardoya Cabo.

This series of workshops will take place between January and May 2019 at the offices of Ategal in Santiago and Ourense. They are not only aimed at Ategal’s regular students, the elderly, but also at the workers of the hosting organisations.

The first workshop is on 22 January at the headquarters of Ategal Santiago and then the day after in Ourense. The rest of the workshops in Ourense will start a few days later. All venues will host one session a week.

‘Senior Talent. Leading my health. Guidelines for blockbuster health’ is a series of six free workshops on the topic of general health with the theme of preparing for retirement. They introduce a number of tools to prepare for this stage in life and the topics are explained in a lively, didactic and dynamic way.

In fact, each workshop is named after a cinema classic, offering emotional guidelines that are discussed in the workshops, as this is a key area in facing retirement in a positive, effective and useful way.
