The municipal ordinance establishes subsidies to tariffs of up to 100% for users who receive the rentas de inclusión social de Galicia (Galician social inclusion income) and equivalent public protection schemes.

Current legislation also establishes subsidies for the billed water rate and discharge coefficient, which include:

• Support schemes for large families.
• Subsidies for those in risk of social exclusion.
• Subsidies for the number of resident registered in the home.
