On the 5th and 6th of April, the Food Collection was carried out by the Banco de Alimentos de Galicia and the Cruz Roja in different cities of the community. Viaqua made available to the Banco de Alimentos de Santiago corporate vans and volunteers of the company, which was distributed among the 15 supermarkets of the companies Gadis and Froiz, in Santiago and Ames, to collect and transport food.

José Pita, president of this bank, asked the citizens of Santiago to donate mainly sugar, oil, canned fish and other items for breakfast such as cocoa and cookies.

As a result of the action, almost 15,000 kg of food was collected to donate to families in Santiago who are in a disadvantaged situation.
